The ingredients needed to prepare Eggless Bread Omlette :
- Use 1/2 cup of chickpea flour/besan.
- Get 2 tsp of maida.
- Take 2 of brown bread slices.
- Provide 1 of green chilli finely chopped.
- Use 2 tsp of finely chopped coriander leaves.
- Take 1/4 tsp of red chilli powder (optional).
- Use 1/4 tsp of baking powder.
- Take 1 of small onion finely chopped.
- You need of Water for making thin batter.
- Use 2 tsp of oil or melted butter.
Instructions to make Eggless Bread Omlette :
- In a mixing bowl, take besan, maida, red chilli powder, and salt. Mix well.
- Add little water and make a thick batter.
- Then add baking powder,onion, green chilli and coriander. Now start adding water little by little and make a lump free thin batter.
- We require very thin batter for making this eggless omlette.
- Heat 1 tsp oil in a flat pan or tawa on medium flame.
- Spread a laddle full batter on heated pan.
- After 2-3 seconds, place in the bread slice and flip the bread around. Cook for few seconds.
- Flip the omlette around and cook for 20-30 seconds.
- Fold in the sides of the omlette.
- Cut it into two or keep it as it is. Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
